The third quarter of 2023 saw notable trends among the top five puzzle games on iOS in Greece. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we analyzed the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for each game. Here’s how they performed:

Block Blast！ by Hungry Studio had a fluctuating download pattern, peaking at approximately 2.6K in the week of August 21. Weekly active users increased from around 5.8K in late July to a high of 7.3K in late August, before gradually decreasing to 5.2K by the end of September.

Words of Wonders: Crossword from Fugo maintained steady weekly downloads, averaging around 1.3K to 1.5K in early Q3 but saw a decline to 912 in mid-September. Revenue saw a peak of $862 in early July but dropped to $272 by the end of September. Active users remained stable, fluctuating between 8.7K and 10K throughout the quarter.

Twisted Tangle by Rollic Games experienced a significant spike in downloads in early July, reaching over 2.1K, followed by a decline to 493 by the end of September. Revenue remained modest, peaking at $43 in late July. Active users increased from 966 in late June to a high of 3.5K in late September.

Tap Away 3D by Popcore GmbH saw a notable increase in downloads, peaking at 2.2K in mid-September. Revenue also showed an upward trend, reaching $27 in late August and maintaining a steady flow through September. Active users surged from 545 in early September to nearly 3K by mid-September, ending the quarter at 2.7K.

Tetris® by PlayStudios had a relatively consistent download rate, peaking at 1.1K in mid-August but declining to 355 by the end of September. Revenue remained low, with minor peaks at $18 in late August. Active users saw a gradual increase from 3.5K in late June to a peak of 4.6K in mid-August, before stabilizing around 3.6K by the end of September.
